Introduction to Restorative Justice - Los Angeles

Introduction to Restorative Justice is an introduction to restorative justice concepts, theory, and application in schools. Restorative justice is a response to conflict and harm that prioritizes healing, safety, and the development of social-emotional competency over punishment, blame, and exclusion, while promoting accountability and responsibility for wrongdoers. This 16-hour workshop introduces a restorative approach to school discipline and behavior management based on five levels of restorative interventions for building a positive community, solving community problems, de-escalating out of control behavior, and addressing wrongdoing and harm.
